The consultancy business of La Merie Business Intelligence was established in 2002 by Ulrich Martin, MD. Based on his extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry both as a physician specializing in pharmacology and as a co-founder and CEO of a product development biotech company, La Merie provides expert consultancy services in R&D, Competitive Intelligence and in Licensing to the biopharmaceutical industry. The team of La Merie SL currently consists of six collaborators responsible for R&D, Science, Business Development, Publishing, eCommerce, Webmastering and IT.

La Merie Business Intelligence started the online presence of its biotech portal PipelineReview.com in 2006 as an R&D news provider and online shop for reports and subscription services. PipelineReview.com is owned and operated by La Merie SL. The portal offers free access to press releases of biopharmaceutical R&D and related business as well as free subscription to La Merie Daily, a FREE newsletter covering R&D and business news.

La Merie Business Intelligence provides custom-tailored consultancy services based on the extensive experience which La Merie has gained from preclinical and early clinical project development, management and business development of therapeutic proteins, antibodies and biosimilars.
